How do you draw Estonians out west together? Throw a party!
About 170 people spanning the generations, half of them children, gathered in Perth in early December 2025 to celebrate and share Estonian Christmas food and traditions and build new connections. ECFA funding helped to support the hire of the event venue. The Christmas Party included an out-of-season visit by Father Christmas, who had a bag of gifts in tow for the kids.

In the first part of 2026, the Estonian community in Perth was treated to performances by the award-winning clown duo Piip ja Tuut and the respected Estonian actor Margus Tabor with his one-man performance Mamma lood. These artist toured across Australia with ECFA support.
